SUMMARY:SCC: Cake Decorating Start A Career
DESCRIPTION:Looking to start a new career? Needing to earn extra money without leaving your home? Then join us in attending our next Cake Decorating Class.\n\n	This course is designed to teach the fundamentals of cake decorating. It will cover the basic techniques that are needed to meet the demands of anyone employed in bakeries\, grocery stores\, restaurants\, resorts\, and those who are self-employed as a cake decorator. Instruction will include borders\, flowers\, writing\, and fondant. The student will learn butter cream designs that can be done quickly and directly on the cake top. The student will also learn how to construct a wedding cake and other special occasion cakes. \n\n	 \n\n	The class will be held at SC Adult Day Center\, 210 Fisher Dr.\, Clinton\, NC beginning on September 6 and ending on October 25.  The class will meet on Tuesday nights from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for a total of 24 hrs.  The instructor will be Ms. Anita Boney.  The cost of the class is $65.00.   Pre-registration will be held on AUGUST 30 from 6:00 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Sampson Community College\, East Building Room 118.  Students will be asked to purchase their own cake decorating tools.
