DESCRIPTION:This annual event plays a critical role in helping our local veterans\, active duty personnel\, and their families to obtain necessary goods and services. \n\n\n\nStand Down is a day when the community comes together to serve\, offer hope\, services\, food\, counseling\, supplies and a lifetime to veterans living without. \n\n\n\nAll Veterans\, Active Duty\, National Guard\, Reservists\, Spouses of Veterans\, Family Members of Veterans\, and Community Members are welcome to attend. \n\n\n\nFree Services Include: \n\n	Food and Refreshments\n	Dental Services\n	Housing assistance for homeless Veterans\n	Haircuts\n	Clothing/ hygiene items\n	Education/ Training assistance\n	Employment/ Public assistance services \n	Social Security\n	Help with accessing VA benefits and services \n	Legal Assistance\n	Mental Health services and substance abuse
