The Guardian ad Litem Program needs at least 10 volunteer child advocates in order to represent the abused and neglected children of Sampson County. The Volunteer GAL is teamed with an Attorney Advocate to speak on behalf of abused and neglected children who have been removed from their homes. GAL volunteers come from all walks of life. The main qualifications are a sincere concern for the well being of children and a commitment to advocate for a child until a safe and permanent home is identified. A Guardian ad Litem must be objective and must be able to interact with people of various educational, economic, and ethnic backgrounds. For more information call (910) 296-2307 or visit www.gal4kids.org. FREE training at Sampson Community College: March 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, 24, 29 & 31 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Please contact Guardian ad Litem if you are interested and/or need more information. This will benefit Sampson County children.
