Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial - Washington DC trip

The Multiculutral Business Committee is sponsoring a Bus Trip to Washington DC for the Dedication of the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial

Sunday, August 28, 2011 the bus leaves at 12:30 a.m. from the Sampson County Expo Center
Departing Washington DC at 5:00 p.m. to arrive in Clinton Monday, August 29, 2011 at 12:00 a.m. midnight (to Sampson County Expo Center).

Cost: $75 per person (non-refundable)

There are 50 seats on the chartered bus, so hurry and pay to reserve your seat. We operate on a first pay basis. Make checks payable to the Clinton-Sampson Chamber of Commerce, cash payments also accepted, or you may call the Chamber office (910) 592-6177 to pay by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover).

Deadline for payment (which makes your reservation) is Friday, August 5, 2011, but the bus may fill up before then. Reserve your seat by paying your $75 before the deadline.

    Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, unsure of the distance needed to walk.
    Please bring umbrella chair, as the mall area does not have seating.
    Also be sure to pack an umbrella for sun or unexpected rain.
    In addition, you may wish to bring bottled water in your bag.

Departure times are above. Please allow sufficiant time to arrive at both sites. We will be operating on a very tight schedule, to avoid being left, please arrange to be on time.
