The Small Business Center and the Clinton Sampson Chamber of Commerce presents The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People Workshop led by Franklin-Covey Certified Facilitator, Lin Mitchell

Turbulent, unpredictable change. Low Trust. Poor communication. Stagnant performance. These challenges extract a heavy price from your organization and from you. As your organization's marketplace advantage decreases, the demands on you increase. You feel burned out from working longer hours and spending less time at home.

Learn to solve these problems with The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People Workshop. Discover how to balance your life so you are more effective on and off the job. This workshop expands on the principals found in the No. 1 best-selling book The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen R. Covey.

Implementing the 7 habits will help you:

  • Balance all aspects of your life
  • Define yourself from within to become more influential
  • Replace burnout with high levels of satisfaction
  • Increase trust
  • Meet needs more effectively through clearer understanding
  • Increase your productivity and quality of work
  • Better understand and meet other's needs
Duke University School of Medicine instructor, Ms. Lin Mitchell, will be the presenter during this lunch and learn event. As a Franklin-Covey Certified Facilitator, she will examine in detail the habits of:
  • Being Proactive
  • Beginning with the end in mind
  • First things first
  • Think Win-Win
  • Seek first to understand, then to be understood
  • Synergize
  • Sharpen the saw
Lunch and handouts will be provided as part of the registration fee. Pre-registration for this event is required. Registration deadline: April 19, 2011 at 4:00 p.m.
