Veterans and Community Stand Down

This annual event plays a critical role in helping our local veterans, active duty personnel, and their families to obtain necessary goods and services. 

Stand Down is a day when the community comes together to serve, offer hope, services, food, counseling, supplies and a lifetime to veterans living without. 

All Veterans, Active Duty, National Guard, Reservists, Spouses of Veterans, Family Members of Veterans, and Community Members are welcome to attend. 

Free Services Include: 

• Food and Refreshments
• Dental Services
• Housing assistance for homeless Veterans
• Haircuts
• Clothing/ hygiene items
• Education/ Training assistance
• Employment/ Public assistance services 
• Social Security
• Help with accessing VA benefits and services 
• Legal Assistance
• Mental Health services and substance abuse
